Corregidor Trip & Others :)
I call this "Farewell City"... Nice pic huh? :) This was taken from our Corregidor trip last March 25 and 26. I was with Van, Irene & Espi. Louie was not able to join us because she was and still in HK while Apple could not come because of some reasons I think she just made up. Hehehe!
Anyway, our first day in the island of Corregidor was both fun & exhausting. Included in our package trip was a guided tour in the island. We went to several places while the tourist guide explained what happened in that particular place. Then after talk, she would let us go down the bus and had some picture taking at the place. This was what we did the whole morning and a little bit of our afternoon. I think this lasted @ around 2:30 pm. Before we ate lunch, we watched the light & sound show @ the Malinta Tunnel. This was part of our package as well. However, I did not like it that much probably because this was already the 2nd time I've seen the show. Yes, this was also the 2nd time I went to Corregidor. The 1st time I've been there was with my college friends. We had a field trip in Corregidor so basically, I've done everything for the 2nd time except the overnight stay because the 1st time I've been there was just for a day tour. Anyway, I still enjoyed my stay because I was with different set of friends. :)
After the tour, we went straight to our hotel to freshen up and to rest because we were so tired from the tour. We decided also not to join the night tour. Well yes, there was also the night tour & I actually don't know the difference aside from the time. Hehehe! & I haven't got the chance to find out coz as I've said, we did not join. We just rested for the afternoon then created our own activities for the night. We went to the recreation center to eat dinner then we did some singing in the karaoke then we played billards - Espi & Irene against Van & me. Van & I won for the 1st game while Espi & Irene won the 2nd game. We could have also won the 2nd time around if it wasn't for Espi who did pretty well in the 2nd game. Hehehe! :) Corregidor @ night was really creepy. There were no street lights and you can barely see the way from the recreation center to the hotel. Lucky us, one crew from the center showed us a shortcut to the hotel and the way was also lighted. Otherwise, we could've been scared to death all the way back to the hotel.
Nothing much happened on our 2nd day. We just availed of the massage that was also included in our package (wellness package). Since only 2 masseuses were available, we went in two batches. First batch were Irene & Espi @ 9 in the morning, then Van & I @ 10 am. It was kinda relaxing but the masseuses were not as good as those who are in Metro. After the massage, we just stayed in our airconditioned room coz it was really hot outside. We checked out from our room @ 3 pm but our service transpo arrived around 4 pm to get us to the ferry terminal. We arrived @ Manila around 5 pm or so but before we part our ways and went home, we hit starbucks first for some delicious coffee... :) More Corregidor pictures here

No, I was not in HK in this photo... I was just in Roxas :)

Another story to tell ... I already tendered my resignation from Sunlife last Thursday, March 29. It's effectivity is on April 27. To tell you the truth, it's really sad for me to leave Sunlife. I like that company very much - the people, the work, the culture, the office, everything! But I have to leave. I need to be with my husband & to face new challenges in life. On the other hand, I am happy coz I will be with my Jay-ar at last! :) ... but aside from feeling happy and sad, I also feel nervous for my new job in Malaysia. I hope I can cope up easily with the kind of work they have there and that I can meet the expectations of my new boss. Or else, I might just be a housewife. Hehehe!

I forgot to give an update on what happened on our Sing-a-long night. Everything went okay aside from the fact that it did not go as planned. Hehehe! Yes, it did not go as planned but it was okay. Actually the plan was that we would have a contest. But when the program started, everybody started singing so we decided not to push through with the contest since everyone was having fun on just singing freely. :)

I loooovvveee PETER PETRELLI of Heroes! I just finished watching the last episode before they had their season break & I'm so happy coz the season will continue on April 23 (that's what I saw from the internet)! :) I like Peter's powers and also the power of Hiro Nakamura - controlling time & space - I wish I have that kind of power.
So that's all for the update. Till next time :)

Little stories to tell
Yay! Got few new graphics for my blog. Weeeh! Isn't obvious that I love graphics? Most especially those that are moving... animated that is! :) Cute cute ni tink don't you think? Hmmm... rhyming. Hehehe! Actually, I don't know why I am doing this post. I have nothing to say actually. Hahaha! Just made some slight modifications on my blog... new ones are tink and my new link list (their lives section)... Next time, i'll get my blog a tag board... can't wait!

I have some stories pala... Van & I are sooo busy preparing for our sing-a-long night. We went to Landmark a while ago to buy some stuff for the event. I already borrowed Ces' magic mic and our prizes are already on the go ... :) What we need to do now is to select the songs that we will use for our sing-a-long. I just hope everyone will enjoy the event, which is already tomorrow night, so it will all worth our effort.
* * *
On Sunday & Monday, I will be in Corregidor with Van, Irene, Espi and Apple... This is the first time we will be doing out of town ever since we met each other... - well, aside from those company activities ... hehehe! I am so excited and I just can't hide it (dunno the next line) ... Too bad Louie can't join us because she has to go to HK for some urgent work-related stuff.
* * *
I just got a word from Jay-ar that the agent from Malaysia might be holding my application for SCOPE to avoid the hassle of re-processing my VISA and the embarrassment that it can cause them to the company who initially processed my working permit. I told Jay-ar I am prepared for anything. As I've said from my previous post, SCOPE or not, I will still be working in Malaysia and that's what's important coz I will be with my Yatzy ... together again :)
Okay I guess I was able to come up with something to write about. Hahaha! Ciao ...

The pleasure of having a lot to do and not doing it.
Yesterday, I spent half of my day watching TV and another half changing my blog template despite the fact that I should have been doing my thesis and studying for my certification. But no, because of the stubborn girl that I am, I did not do any of the two rather do other things.
I told myself that I still have Sunday, which is today to do the important things. But here I am, writing this post and haven't done anything aside from blogging. Hehehe!
The looks of my blog would have been complete & satisfactory for me if I was able to change the color of my scroll bar. I've searched the internet how to do it and they give me the same code. I even checked yeng's blog and get the same code as well. It goes like this:
But sadly, it didn't work. I tried everything, which consumes a large slice of my time, but to no avail. Soon I found out that other users of blogspot were also having the same problem as me.
So I guess it's just a blogspot bug. I have also seen a site saying that change of scroll bars only works for IE 5.5 so it's really not worth the effort.
Then I realized, it's time to decide to give up. Hehehe! :)
Anyone have done it in blogspot? please email me. Would appreciate it. Thanks! :)
But I'm glad for the outcome of my blog although I admit that I am like a late bloomer, only starting blogging just now. My friends have started it 2 years ago or more. But that's okay. As they say, better late than never. :)
* * *
My internet connection is soooo slow. It's crawling actually. But our desktop does not have the same problem. I am only encountering this on my laptop coz I'm connecting thru wifi. Dunno if it's because of my connection config or anything. I dunno much about networking. I actually didn't like that subject when I took it during my masters (it was a requirement, by the way).
So I really should be doing my thesis project or else jay-ar will kill me. He's like my dad you know. Daddy & husband in one... what else do you need? Hehehe... Love you yat! (^^,)

What Oprah had to say about men (Nice Read)
- If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
- Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior. Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.
- Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that's not meant to be.
- Slower is better.
- Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
- If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends". A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend. Don't settle.
- If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is. Don't stay because you think "it will get better." You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
- The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
- Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women. He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you any differently?
- Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
- Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you, speak up.
- Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.
- You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within.
- Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are... even if he has more education or in a better job. Do not make him into a quasi-god. He is a man, nothing more nothing less.
- Never let a man define who you are.
- Never borrow someone else's man. If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.
- A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.
- All men are NOT dogs.
- You should not be the one doing all the bending... compromise is a two way street.
- You need time to heal between relationships... there is nothing cute about baggage... Deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship.
- You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you... a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals... look for someone complimentary... not supplementary.
- Dating is fun... even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.
- Make him miss you sometimes... when a man always know where you are, and you're always readily available to him - he takes it for granted.
- Never move into his mother's house.
- Never co-sign for a man.
- Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need.
- Keep him in your radar, but get to know others.

Good News & Bad News
What do you want to know first? Good news or bad news? Okay let's start with the good one.
My working visa in Malaysia has been approved and released! Horrraaaayyy!!! *confetti* :)
Anytime soon, I will be busy processing documents in Malaysia Embassy and in POEA & I'm just so psych about it!
Another good news! I had an interview today with SCOPE Malaysia and it went well. My interviewer even told me that they can consider me for the job. And I like this company more than the company who actually processed my VISA. And if ever I will be fortunate to actually be hired in SCOPE, I would request to transfer my employment to this company.
Which leads us to the bad news. The bad news is, the agent who will be processing the employment papers for SCOPE already told us that they cannot process my documents anymore for SCOPE because my employment pass for another company was already processed and approved. *sadness*
I don't get it though. What if I want to decline the offer of the first company and accept the offer of another company? There should be a way to do this coz it actually happens in real life and as a matter of fact, It happens most of the time. So I can't believe that it cannot be done.
Oh well, what ever happens, I'm still sooo blessed (thank you Lord!) coz I have a secured job in Malaysia. And I am happy for that. SCOPE or not, I will still be working in Malaysia with my yatot!
So Malaysia ... here I come!!! :)

Weekend Bonanza
Ay naku! I had a terrible weekend.
.
Please read on...
.
Friday:
.
I was attacked by weirdness last Friday night. I was happily chatting with my labidabi Jay-ar when all of a sudden a YM window popped up on my screen saying “Hello”. Checked who was it from and it was from my mom. Okay lang sana kaya lang nasa tabi ko ang mom ko that time watching TV! So I was surprised and told my mom that she just sent me a YM message. Of course, she was shocked as well. I asked her if she had given her password to somebody else. She said no. So obviously the person using her YM ID is a hacker. To know who it was, I kept on chatting with the impostor. I told her that I’m a student of hers (she was playing the role of my mom). Good thing she didn’t know that I am suppose to be her daughter. Hehehe! She tried to make me view her webcam twice but unfortunately it was not setup properly and for some reason, it didn’t work. Sayang! Gusto ko pa naman makita face nya. And what’s weird about it is that she had the guts to show her face to me to think that I know the person she was role-playing. She was also requesting to see my webcam and I told her that it was broken. And to make the long story short, I failed to know who that person is because my mom can’t take it anymore. She logged in using her account and changed the password, which means that the impostor was logged out from YM. Probably she tried to re-login using my mom’s account but to no avail. So that where our chat ended.
.
And hindi pa po tapos yun. A minute or two right after that incident, another YM popped up on my screen. Another YM user was saying “Hello” to me. Gusto nya lang daw makipag kaibigan coz she was so bored in Singapore. Pinay din daw sya and she was accompanying her mom in Singapore. She let me view her webcam and grabe! mukha syang mumu! Katakot! Not because she was ugly pero dahil super duper kapal ng kanyang make-up. Mumu-effect tlaga! Hehehe! So I asked her how did she get my ID. She told me thru YM Search Philippines. I’m not familiar with that functionality of YM but I tried looking for it to make sure but I cannot find it. And then gusto nya makipag meet sakin when she comes back daw to the Philippines. Uwian nya daw ako ng webcam coz I also told her that my webcam is broken when she requested to see it. Sabi ko malayo ako sa Makati kahit na 15-min ride lang ito from our place pag walang traffic. So again to cut the story, all of a sudden she did not reply when I told her this. So we were thinking (my mom, my sis, Jay-ar & I) that the person acting as my mom & the second one is one person only because how did she ever know my YM ID. And probably she’s part of an illegal syndicate because she wanted to see me and she stopped chatting when I told her that I couldn’t. So that’s Friday night.
.
Saturday:
.
Saturday was kinda exhausting for me. I was supposed to leave the house @ exactly 10:45 am so that I would reach Sta. Rosa Laguna by 12 pm coz I will have lunch with my in-laws. But since I woke up late and I left the house later than expected, I reached Sta. Rosa around 12:30 pm. Kahiya nga kc pinaghinatay ko pa sila and they were probably hungry already. Anyway, this was not the only reason why I went to Sta. Rosa. We did a property tripping. O diba! Jay-ar wants to have our first property so we’re looking for a house & lot and Sta. Rosa is a good place for us because most of our relatives are from there. And the developer is Avida, one of the Ayala companies. So we expect that the place would really be nice and it is! I got home at around 5:30 pm due to traffic (I left Sta. Rosa @ 3 pm). I don’t know what happened to me but when I reached home, I feel so tired and sleepy and really exhausted. Probably because I am not used to long travels by land anymore. And also, I forgot to mention that I did not sleep well the night before that's why I woke up late. But despite of exhaustion, I was compelled to report immediately to my husband on what happened to the trip. And soon enough, I realized that I should have taken my rest first before chatting with him because due to my tiredness, I picked up a fight with my husband. *sadness*. Well, I won’t give the details anymore but we fought because of my bad. I shouldn’t have taken all my tiredness in him. Anyway, this fight is not just any ordinary fight, It was a big fight actually. He hated me that night and I hated him as well. I know it’s my fault but there were some expectations on my part from him that he did not do so I was really hurt and I cried myself to sleep that night.
.
What happened on Sunday? - to be continued… It's late already ... hehehe!
.
Continuation...
.
Sunday:
.
When I woke up Sunday morning, I felt like everything is turning because I did not sleep well mainly because of our fight. And at that time, masama pa din ang loob ko kay Jay-ar. The case is not the same with him. Okay na sya. Kailangan lang nya itulog ang lahat and then okay na sya, which is good for him actually. Or should I say, good for both of us. But despite the fact na okay na sya, he didn’t want to accept half of the blame. For him, it was my entire fault. And yes, at first, it was really all my fault, but when we were fighting or 'arguing' for a better term, there was also inconsideration on his part. So he said that we should be okay and that he already forgave me for picking up a fight with him. But I was still not okay. Not okay because I also wanted him to admit his mistakes. And on this day (Sunday), we were still arguing on whose fault it was and who was right and who was wrong. At the end, I gave way. Yes I did! Because it will never end if we are both so insisting. So I told him, ‘okay, I don’t totally agree with you but just to end this thing, next time we will do it your way.’ Well if you’re kinda confused on what I was talking about, we were actually arguing on how are we going to handle things when we’re fighting. Hehehe! Kasi ang gs2 nya, we settle it the next day so that both of us have cooled down. Ako naman, I don’t want to end the day without talking about and fixing it. Pero as I’ve said, I let him won! So next time we argue, we will just discuss it the next day. This is only applicable when we fight at night. But if it’s morning, then we have the whole day to talk about it or should I say, argue about it. Hehehe!
.
But I am proud to say that despite our many differences, we love each other so much. Actually marami talaga kaming hindi pinag kakasunduan. And to tell you the truth, magkaiba talaga ang ugali namin. BUT we are doing okay, well... i can say that more than okay. Kasi we love each other very very much. One thing that I will never forget is when he told me that I should not be worried if we talk about it the next day coz whatever we are fighting about, he will still love me, no matter what. *aaawwww* hehehe! Haaay, I really love that man so much… 8^) So Sunday night, we love each other again and I hope that next fight, we can work things out smoothly and easily. Hehehe! Well, hindi naman tlaga nawawala ang away… What’s important is that you fix it and you still love each other despite all arguments and differences. 8^)
.
Okay back to work na muna ako… hehehe!

Please read on...

Saturday:
- to be continued… It's late already ... hehehe!

Continuation...

Sunday:

*Sadness*
You told me you love me. But tell me again, do you still love me now? After all that has been said and done, I don't think I am in the position to believe everything that you will say. Coz if you really love me, you will not take me for granted and if you really love me you will consider my feelings. If you really love me, you will not hurt me.
So please, don't say you love me. Coz you don't.
>enigma<

fcuk
And who the fcuk do you think you are?
You are the only one who can make me feel this bad.
I hate you today!

No outside email! Whats up with that?
Van and I were assigned to CSA's 3rd monthly activity - The Sing-along Night. And it's very hard to get participants for our individual contest! Obviously, they are too shy to sing in front of the whole department, with more or less than 130 employees. So we're just going to stick to the original plan - Group Singing. It's really hard to plan and implement the event and to encourage people to participate. Not to mention that while we're at this, we are also debugging codes, fix errors and help users with their lives.I just hope everyone will enjoy this event.
Anyway, TGIF and everyone in sunlife are so excited to go to MCS to bowl except for those people who opt not to join like me... Well, I like bowling. I enjoyed it the last time I joined but the game finishes very late - 11 pm or later than that and I might as well be @ home resting from a long day's work during that time.
Jay-ar told me that citibank will have no outside emails anymore. Meaning, they cannot send and receive emails aside from internal emails, which, for me is sooo inhumane to do to their employees. Of course, people still need to communicate to the outside world even during office hours - one way of balancing life and work. And mind you, they don't have access to iNet as well. So cruel.
Okay, I need to go home now and study for JSCP. Bye!

Super Woman
Aside from being late for work for two consecutive days, nothing unusual happened yesterday and today.Though being late is already becoming one of my usuals... hehehe! I spent my day today debugging programs, solving user/system problems and some occasional web surfing.Oh and last night, I already started reviewing for my certification for SCJP... (nyay! scary... )I am planning to be a superwoman and do two great tasks - reviewing for certification and doing my masters thesis! But as I've said, that's just a plan... hahaha! But Im really really really hoping to have my certification by next month - it's my top priority. Though im still not sure if I will be ready to take the exam by April. Oh well... Let's see...

Hmmm.. White Chocolate... Yummy!
Though I'm not 100% agree to what is stated below, I am posting it anyway.... hehehe...
You are White Chocolate |
You have a strong feminine side with a good bit of innocence thrown in. Whether your girlish ways are an act or not, men like to take care of you. You are an understated beauty, and your power is often underestimated! |
Start of Something New
Weeeh!!! I am gonna start blogging! hehehe... 8^)Well, I am not really a writing person so I hope I can update my blog as much as possible...Right now, I am doing a project for my masters thesis and the project is Electronic Document Management System for Post Implementation Support. Kinda long name for a system. Hehehe! I wish I'd be able to finish at least one module so that my leave from work today would no go to waste. And early this morning, I made a graham ref cake for my mom and a pastillas for my shobe. Hope they'll like it. :) So that's it for now, I'm gonna start doing my project so that I can do more. Ciao!!!
