Contrary to what Jay-ar is insisting, hindi ko idol si Judy Ann Santos! No offense meant kay Juday pero hindi ko tlaga sya idol. So why the subject, you may ask? Wala lang, eto lang kc ang topic ko for this post. Hehehe! What a LAME intro.
Anyway, enough about punchlines. Let me start about the topic.
Jay-ar & I had our civil wedding last January 27, 2006. Civil lang muna kasi si Jay-ar, nag mamadali ng magpakasal. In other words ayaw na ko pakawalan. Hihihi! [Yat, peace tayo!]
Naalala ko pa ang so-called proposal na ginawa ni Jay-ar. It was January and we were chatting that time. He was in Malaysia while I was in the Philippines. And then...
Jay-ar : Pagbalik ko jan, pakasal na kaya tyu.
Ako : [kilig] Sure ka?
Jay-ar : Ayaw mo ba?
Ako : [kilig] Gusto
Jay-ar : Sige pagdating ko jan pakasal na tayo
Then after this, I called my dad so he & Jay-ar can talk about it thru YM. I was not sure where did Jay-ar get the guts to just talk to my dad and tell him that we are planning to get married ora-mismo. So I let them talk & while they were on it, I went to the living room to join the rest of the family. After they talked, my dad went out of the room, and from what I can still remember, he looked so pale when he joined us in the living room. Then he asked me, "mag papakasal na daw kayu ni Jay-ar?" and then suddenly, there was a chaos. My mom asked me in an instant, "Are you pregnant?", "Nde noh!", I answered, then my sister said, are you moving out of the house then before I could answer, she started crying already. And then the rest is history. Hehehe!
Yan ang proposal ni Jay-ar. Sweet noh. Hehehe! Well, he's not really that romantic type of guy but I like him the way he is. Aanhin ko naman ang romantic kung babaero at iresponsable naman diba? And besides, Jay-ar can be sweet also. Ang cute nga kasi alam kong nde sya ganun pero minsan nag pupumilit syang maging sweet. Ang sweet noh! :) So I find it really cute when he tries to be so sweet. And yah, he's also romantic in his own way. Mahilig nya nga ako i-surprise. Ako naman tong pilit na binubuko mga surprises nya. Hehehe! I admit that I am happily in love head over heels. Masaya ako kc I have found my partner in crimes, my prince, my knight in a shining armor ... my soulmate. Oo noh. I firmly believe in soulmates. And when you find your soulmate, treasure him and never ever let him go. Kasi pag pinalampas mo yan, wala na... Tatandang dalaga ka na.. Hehehe! How will you know if he's your soulmate?! Believe me, malalaman mo yun.
Anywayz, Im getting really mushy and sentimental na... So back na ulit sa kasalan... So our church wedding was supposed to be last January of this year. Kaya lang silver wedding ng aking parents and my mom believes in SUKOB kahit nde naman kami magkapatid [kasalanan to ni Kris Aquino ... hehehe!] so next year na lang kami... And so, our church wedding was re-scheduled on February next year. Feb 2 to be exact. And as of this moment, nde pa kumpleto ang suppliers namin. Well, meron na kaming caterer, reception venue, church, photo & video... Kulang pa ang souvenirs, gowns and other minor things. So tomorrow I will be going back to the Philippines to get suppliers for the things we are still lacking.
Haaay, uuwi ako sa PINAS bukas. Dapat excited ako. Pero nde. Hindi ko kasi kasama si Jay-ar e. Pero excited din ako kc makikita ko family & friends ko kc miss ko na din sila. But I know I will definitely have fun in this short-time vacation. I just hope there is no typhoon anymore para sulit ang gala. Im sure one of the next posts will be my PH escapades with family & friends. Hehe! Okay back to work muna ulit!

I am 68% Optimus Prime!
At dahil feeling ko okay na ang program ko, pa-blog blog na lang ako dito sa office! Waaah! So far, I have encountered ang pinaka mahirap na program na pinagawa sakin. Well, madali lang sana sya kung alam ko yung flow ng program. Kaya lang nde ko pa tlaga nakikita ang code na yun tapos kailangan ko i-modify tapos mabilisan pa. So last week, while doing it, I was cursing my TL in my mind. Hehehe! Buti na lang testing na lang sya ngayun & as far as I can see on my testing, okay naman sya. Wag lang sana bigla may ipadagdag na bago sa code at pauwi na lang ako sa Pinas e nape-pressure pa ko! Naku, wish ko lang okay na lahat para petiks petiks na lang ako until Thursday then Friday, uwi na ko sa Pinas. Weeeh! Sana lang kasama ko si Jay-ar. Anyway, bukas ko pa tlaga ma-confirm kung okay na tlaga yung program ko kc yung contact namin dun sa interfacing system e naka-leave ngayun. Take note, posting din itong ginagawa ko. Parang IPAC pa din.

Pinas Here I Come!
Our development server is down so I cannot do much since my testing should be done in that server. I am finished with the program already but I still need to run it to see if it's working & without a server that would be impossible. I cannot test the program locally coz It should run in a Linux environment. My TL who was suppose to fix it yesterday got lazy and said that he will do it today so while he's on it, I am here making this post.
My leave from work is already confirmed! Hurray! *Confetti* It will be on 24th-30th of this month and I can't wait to see my family & friends. Though I would be happier & more excited if Jay-ar can come with me, but he can't because he cannot take a leave just yet. Anyway, maybe next time, we can go back to the Philippines together. I only take few days off from work because my leaves are still without pay since I am still on probation. So I just have to squeeze in every plan I have in the Philippines for 7 days. That would be a challenge coz there are a lot of things that I need to settle during this short period. I need to go to Jay-ar's hometown to visit my in-laws, meet VILLMA and have a grand reunion, meet up with our wedding caterer for food tasting, meet up with the tailor for my gown, meet up with JoBarCo, quality time with my family and many other things that needs to be accomplished. Nonetheless, I am still excited coz after more that 3 months, I will be stepping my feet again on my country. You may think 3 months is such a short time and if I were not an OFW then I would say the same. But being away from home, even for just a month, makes me miss and appreciate Philippines more. And if I only have lots of money, I will still choose to settle for good in my own country. Problem is, I don’t have. =(
Several days before my long awaited short-time vacation, we will be transferring to our new permanent condo unit. (Permanent here means at least for a year). And that would have to be tomorrow. I haven’t mentioned here in my blog that we moved to another unit because there had been a problem (attitude problem) with one of our housemates (See post last 03AUG – Bitchiness Personified). So because of that, we had no choice but to find a new unit for us. Luckily, one of Jay-ar’s friends was kind enough to give us a shelter for one week. We were given only one week because the owner of the room we are staying will be arriving this coming Saturday from the Philippines. However, as of this writing and because of a very limited time we have, we haven’t found our own unit to rent. Good thing though, Jay-ar’s former colleague, also Pinoy, offered us to share her unit with us. She is currently living there alone. So as you can see, we are not in any position to pass up this kind of offer. And so we will start to move our things again in this unit this weekend. Honestly, I would prefer to rent a condo unit for us only, I mean with no housemates. But I guess, God has other plans for us. And I still consider this as a blessing because if none offered us a unit to stay, then we are faced with a major problem.
On a lighter note, I think I want to change the template of my blog. But I have to find time to do it. When everything is already settled in our new home and our Internet connection was transferred already from our old unit to our new one, then I think I can start changing my blog template. =)
As for now, I have to prepare myself for another session of packing of things and appliance lifting.

Bitchiness Personified
Are you familiar with the term “fair-weathered”? I have heard the words “fair-weathered friend” many times before but I didn’t really care because I don’t have such kind of friend, fortunately.
Unfortunately though, Jay-ar had a so-called “friend” who is a perfect example of a fair-weathered friend. And mind you, I think this is the only instance where I can associate the word “perfect” to her. And yes ladies and gentlemen, she’s a girl - a disgrace to my gender.
I pity her for how she degraded herself for the sake of small amount of money. Actually, before I came here, I already heard from other people (mostly from her victims) what kind of a freak person she is. Though it didn’t really bother me since I didn’t have first-hand experience of her freakiness. But now I’ve realized that she is really the kind of person that you would not want to be your friend. When you get to know her, you can see that she is the worst kind of a selfish, self-centered, back-stabber, arrogant, retarded, narrow-minded, gossip-maker person there is, but believe me, she’s more than that! She is worse than the worst! Even this description is an understatement of what she really is.
And another unbelievable thing is that she’s a very religious person! Yeah, she prays a lot. Hmmm… maybe asking for forgiveness for all the cruel things that she did to other people. But that would be useless if she keeps doing those things. Oh well, if that’s how she wants to live her life, just let her be. If she wants a lot of people to be mad at her due to her very bad attitude, then that’s her problem and let her suffer the consequences. After all, what goes around comes around.
Anyway, I would not dig in to further details of what really happened. But as we all know, a fair-weathered friend is someone who only is there for the good times and bails on you for the rough.
And after all the bad things she did to us, I still had one wish for her and that is may all the bad luck in the world be with her. Hehehe!
