My mom, bro and sis are here in Malaysia. We've been in places ever since. Some of the places we've been to were Melaka, Petrosains, i-City, Genting & Colamare Tropicale. We still have 2 whole days to think where else around KL to go to. :)

Strawberry Picking
We went to Cameron Highlands for 2 days since we have a long weekend. I loved the cool breeze and Kylie enjoyed our trip so much. One of the things we did is to buy strawberries that we hand-picked ourselves. I would definitely go back to that place, but probably not in the near future :)

Homemade Oreo Cheesecake Cupcake
Last night, I made this. It really tastes good. My baby Kylie loved it, which made the effort all worth it, though it's not really that difficult to make. I finished a whole cupcake and it made me feel guilty now. Problem is, I love to bake. But I don't really like to eat sweets because they are fattening. And just like now, indulging on it makes me guilty and wants to start jogging right away to burn all the calories.
Talk about paranoia. Lol.

The Year That Was and The Year To Come
I am very thankful for the year that was. I may not have much, I did not win any lottery and I did not travel to extravagant places. But despite all these, I can say that I always had enough. Me and my family had good health, good shelter, good food, good job and we are all still alive. What else could I ask for? Though Jay-ar, Kylie and I celebrated new year sleeping coz we were all sick, what was that compared to a whole year of good health? I have nothing to complain about or something bad to say about 2011. It was not extraordinary, but it was okay and I am so grateful for having an okay year.
For this year 2012, I would be happy if it was like last year. But if greater things will come, then it would be awesome. I would like to thank God for all the blessings. For the good times and the not so good times in 2011. It made me learn so much and I believe I am a better person now because of everything I've experienced last year. I pray that He will continue to shower us with blessings, guide us all the way and teach us to accept things that beyond our control.
I would like to have a positive attitude/outlook this 2012. I would like to have the ability to see good things even in bad things. Yeah, I know it is not a very easy thing to do but I want to try and I want to start somewhere. :) I hope I will not be that short-tempered anymore. I want to be appreciative even for small things.
Last new year, my new year's resolution was not to be onion-skinned when it comes to work. I believe I had done a good job doing this. I hope I can do the same for my new year's resolution now, which is positiveness for 2012. :)
I would like to end this post by giving praise and thanks to the Lord for 2011. May He lead us throughout 2012. Amen.

Anyway, nothing much to say now. I cannot promise that what I'll write here will be much of an interest to you but If you're bored and happen to remember this blog, feel free to always drop by. :)
That's it for now and hope to find something to post soon! Tata! :)
Ps. Blog posts before this were imported from my old blog. Please don't get confused. :)

A Short Love Story
A man and a woman who had never met before, but who were both married to other people, found themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a trans-continental train. Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly, he in the upper berth and she in the lower.
At 1:00 AM, the man leaned down and gently woke the woman saying,………. ’Ma’am, I’m sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket? I’m awfully cold.’
‘I have a better idea,’ she replied ‘Just for tonight,…… let’s
pretend that we’re married.’
‘Wow!…………………. That’s a great idea!’, he exclaimed.
‘Good,’ she replied. ………….’Get your own f*ing blanket.
‘ After a moment of silence, ………………….he farted.
The End

Say What?!
I can't believe I will find something like this from the Bible.
Meaning, if a man rapes a woman, the rapist should marry his victim and should pay something with monetary value to her father. Meaning, we should all be condemned to hell for not following this scripture since we jail those rapist and do not ask them to marry their victim. It's like "Once broken, considered SOLD!".
Ah, the Bible that is written by human MAN/MEN.
Deuteronomy 22 Verse 22-23:
22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;
22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

Updates!
I haven't updated this blog that much but I have so many things to post. Yeah, laziness strikes again. So allow me to just make a quick recap of the things that came about:
- It was Jay-ar's Birthday last January 15. We had a celebration at our humble condo here in Malaysia. We have prepared a total of 7 dishes (8 including the homemade banana muffin baked by our housemate), 6 of which I prepared/cooked.
- January 25th was my dad's birthday. I was here in Malaysia and my family celebrated it in Bohol.
- January 27th is our 5th civil wedding anniversary and we celebrated it in Italiannie's @ the Curve
- We ate at Tony Roma's KLCC to celebrate Jay-ar's 10th year as a worker
- Today is our 3rd church wedding anniversary. Still thinking of how to celebrate it
- Pictures of all these are sleeping in the hard disk and
willshould be uploaded soon
- Yesterday was a holiday here in KL
- Tomorrow and the day after that will also be holidays in Malaysia
- Having said this, I want to leave the office now. Holiday mode is still activated from yesterday.
- Gong Xi Fa Cai Chinese peeps
- One of my teammates took a one-month wedding leave
- Another one of my teammate took a two-month maternity leave
- Her husband is also one of my teammates, which took a leave with her
- In other words, I will be alone in the office for a month
- Having said this, I just wish there will be no issue for the whole month of February as I need to deal with it ALONE.
- Did I mention I want to leave the office now?

Appreciation even for the little things in life.
This is a challenge for me because I am hard to please but I will try to learn and hopefully master this for this year. Happiness and contentment for 2011, these are my major major goals :)
